Lettering and Awards

Varsity Letter Award

• Varsity Letters will be awarded based on a point system

• Wrestlers must attend at least 2 youth practices 

• Wrestlers will need to receive 20 points to letter

• Lettering points can be earned as follows:

  • Wrestling Varsity

    • 1 pt. for every varsity match wrestled

    • 1 pt. for every varsity win

    • 1 pt. for every varsity pin

  • 2 pts. for completing a specified lifting program with documentation approved by the coach; spring, summer, fall

  • 2 pts. for attendance to all summer practices

    • Attendance to camps during summer practices will be excused upon discretion of the coach

  • 2 pts. for completion of each high school wrestling season (9-12)

  • Coaches discretion
