Girl's Wrestling

Girl's wrestling is consists of 13 weight classes. Girls now have their own individual Section and State tournaments.  The continued growth of girl's wrestling will only open more opportunities in the future. The 2025-26 season is the first season Willmar has adopted a high school wrestling program.  Mark Neu is the girls Head Coach and will lead the growth of the new program.  The girls schedule can have 16 events, 8 Girl's Only events and 8 "shared" events where they attend the same competition as the boys.  Our girl wrestlers will have their own girls practices and compete against other programs with girl athletes.
