Email: haugenb@willmar.k12.mn.us
Objective: To provide a visual knowledge of the world around us. We will work with the skills of drawing, measurement, and visualization; the properties and deductive nature of geometry’s many uses. The geometry that we will study involves many different ideas, but almost all these ideas concern visual patterns of numbers and shapes. Geometry is the language of design; without it a student has difficulty describing anything physical. Geometry can be a difficult course for many students. Much practice and study is required of students for them to be successful.
